HistoryEdit

A woman had given birth to a baby boy, it was healthy, and cried like all other new borns, but as the child was born, she soon became extremely ill, and before anything, died within the night. Without the father, who to this day, is unknown who the father even is, an old woman by the name of Yusaki looked at the baby, and suddenly named the child Ishida, where she would take care of the child till it was strong enough. For the first 4 years, the child was raised by the old woman, he learned to speak at a much younger age then that of others, and was speaking before the first year was even up. This surprised many of the villagers, but as the baby began to speak and ask questions about his parents, the villagers told him that they left him in the village, and left him in the care of old lady Yusaki. As Ishida had turned 5, Yusaki passed on, leaving her home to him, and leaving the villagers to care for Ishida. As Ishida was 16, he had grown to work the fields with the other's, harvesting crops, void of any information from the outside world, even void from the emperor, and one day, without realising it, Ishida suddenly began to feel woosy, causing Ishida to black out. The day had passed while Ishida had blacked out, and before realising anything, Ishida woke up in the middle of the mountain range. As he returned to the village, he saw what had happened, and without any explination, the villagers chased him away, calling him a monster and other things.

Now what was interesting was what happened next, Ishida was taken from wherever, which ironically he didn't know where he was, just somwhere in the mountains, but as the emperors guards took him to the city of Kyoto, the Emperor decided to take Ishida in to raise and take care of him, at least to help Ishida, and what was most interesting was how the Emperor not only treated him, but spoke to him. The Emperor stated that Ishida was indeed equal to him, not one who was below or above, but equal, and that he must see everyone as his equal, never above or below, even if they are more powerful then he. After the 4 years being with the Emperor and the Emperor's family, Ishida knew how to not only read, but was a skilled fighter, which he didn't know how he became skilled, and as such, was put into the military as a common foot soldier, and so for the first 10 years of fighting for the current emperor, Ishida fought in countless battles, from fighting off pirates, to fighting against the empire of China, he was going from one battle to the next, protecting and invading when the need arose, and learning countless techniques and stratagies. But after the 10th year of proving himself, Ishida started to be given higher ranks, and thus continued fighting, protecting his men on the field of battle, and after time, had learned to keep his men protected as best he can, each battle causing less loss for the emperor of Japan. He had continued fighting, and after the death of the first Emperor he served, he started serving the new Emperor, who held similer ideals to that of the first Emperor.

Finally after a good 100 years of serving the Empire, the latest Emperor of Kyoto died. This gave Ishida a reason to leave Kyoto, and begin to travel to find out more about what happened, and to him, why his family abandoned him. For 3 years, Ishida traveled from place to place, traveling across the lands of Asia where he met many beings, learning different cultures and ways of life, till finally reaching Palanestina. So it was October, and low and behold, things started off interesting as Ishida met a woman by the name of Relas. Ishida had spent many nights with her as Ishida traveled on the ocean with her, spent much of his time with her either helping out, or hanging out, and then mate with her. Months had passed as January arrived, and Ishida had become really worn out. Ishida had passed out, completely unaware of what was going on, but after a few days, Ishida awoke in the middle of the woods, and after a moment, began traveling, and finally, after 3 days, Ishida returned to Pala, but before returning, he decided to deal with these demons that were trying to kill people. After a day or so, Ishida started asking around, till finally, after speaking with Marcia, found out that it was the dragon who did this, and so started the quest to hunt down the ingredients, which took a month or so to obtain the ingredients. What was a big surprise was how he was already ready to face the dragon, so as Ishida went to the training grounds and did everything, soon being sucked into his own mind, now was the time for the dragon to appear, but not till he talked Ishida down. So the dragon soon came out, and was a huge shock to many, and as it seemed, was a rarity to see a brass dragon. As the dragon pushed Ishida up against a wall, breaking a few ribs, Ishida did something that, tho painful and humiliating, made the dragon admire Ishida in many ways, and that was how Ishida, brace yourself, brought out a vial filled with liquid and tossed it into the dragons eye's. Now, that wouldn't be so bad, except the vial was filled with PISS AND GLASS, thus causing not only burning do to the acidic nature of the piss, but also the stinging glass that made fighting damn near impossible. Ya, this made the dragon bow down and accept to work with Ishida from now on, and as such, wouldn't take over Ishida's body anymore. But the dragon still got Ishida back by trying to piss off Markus one night, so that was fun, but since then, the dragon had been working with Ishida, at least discussing things, and once Ishida get's into battle, then he'll use his powers to help Ishida out.

PersonalityEdit

Ishida is a very interesting being for one who born of a dragon. He doesn't come off as one who thinks he is stronger then the other's, that was sort of taken away from him do to the Dragon's nature. No, instead, Ishida is a far more laid back being who will call it like it is, even if it means getting into trouble for what he says. He tends to look at everyone as normal people, like those he'd run into on the street, and pretty much ignore rank or status till given reason to actually acknowledge it. This may get him killed as well, for he tends not to even bow or kneel in the pressence of royaltee. Now just cause he acts like this doesn't mean he's idiotic, he's been one to show his intelligence when it really matters, and as such, has proven great in battle. The one person that tends to get him to act differently is his mate Relas, who seems to make him just ease up, and make it less likly to speak out and call other's on things. Maybe it's good, maybe not, who knows.

AppearanceEdit

Ishida has been known to have two styles upon him, he holds that of two styles of dress. His most common style, and one that he prefers is that of his normal every day attire. It is void of most armor, the jacket made out of a fine leather, and redder then the redest flames. It keeps him warm in most cool weather, even in the snow. He also dawns a pair of white pants with red flams at the base, armored red boots made of a type of metal able to withstand most damage done to it, and around his waiste, a piece of armor taken from the armor of the samurai. It is red in color and protects his waiste. The other style is that of his battle armor, it varies in color, and covers most of his body including his chest, shins, and feet. He is still able to move in this armor, and able to battle with ease. The weapon of choice is that of the cross spear, able to pierce and cut, it holds 3 long, sharp blades that can pierce most stone with ease, and break through most armor. He uses this do to how he can do damage from not only thrusting the weapon, but swinging as well, and thus giving him greater chances to stab his enemy.

Information

Although weaker than many other varieties of dragonkind, brass dragons are still powerful creatures by any measure. They have a strong mercenary streak and often agree to serve as guardians or battle champions for anyone willing to pay suitably well.

Physically, the brass dragon is highly distinctive. From below, its outstretched wings form a triangular shape, as they are attached to its body all the way to the tip of its tail. The wings are longest at the shoulder, and taper gently as they reach the tail. Their scales seem to radiate heat and light. The shape of the head is quite unusual, as it includes a large, curved plate that extends from the dragon's eyes and cheeks on either side and curves upwards into two points, much like a plowshare. They have two sharp horns on the chin, which become steadily pointier as the dragon ages. They smell like hot, oiled metal.

Brass dragon eggs must be incubated in a nest of open flames. Incubation takes approximately 480 days. The eggs are typically tended by both parents, so that they can talk together as they maintain their vigil. A newhatched brass wyrmling is not remarkable in appearance; its scales are a dull brown. The scales become lighter and more brilliant as the dragon matures. Brass wyrmlings probably learn to talk more quickly than the young of any other sentient species. They talk constantly about anything and everything, and they will talk to anybody: friends, family, enemies, small creatures that cannot talk back, or even to itself if nobody else is near. When exposed to a new language, a brass wyrmling will usually become fluent in under an hour. Though they have an extremely deadly breath weapon, they are more fragile than other dragons. As a result, they make alliances with small groups of intelligent creatures, such as tribes of nomadic dragonborn.

As it matures, a brass dragon adds a love of fire to its love of speech. They can stare into burning flames for hours, entranced by their beauty. Older brass dragons often become discouraged with the world, believing that others are ruining it. Yet as they mature, they seem to accept the follies of the world, and may even donate some of their treasures to aid a cause they believe to be worthy. Ancient brass dragons are some of the best - and most willing - sources of advice in the entire Prime Material Plane.

The brass dragon prefers to dig its lair inside a desert peak or spire. They also prefer to have their lairs face eastwards, so that the rising sun will warm the lair for the bulk of the day. A brass dragon's lair is well-constructed and quite extensive, with many twisting corridors and dead ends to confuse and discourage hostile intruders. The centerpiece of any brass dragon's lair is the Grand Conversation Hall, where it spends the majority of its time entertaining friends and visitors. A typical lair will also contain an elegant foyer, a gallery for the artwork the dragon has collected, a sleeping chamber, and a storage room. All brass dragon lairs have several small entrances, known as bolt holes. These multiple entrances allow a brass dragon to easily escape an attack by a blue dragon or other predator.

History of Ishida's Dragon

The life of this particular brass had started off unknown, along with most of his life for the first few hundred years, but even tho he may of been an annoying Dragon, he had learned to survive much longer then other Brass, for he was able to move about, that was till about 124 years ago. He was being hunted down, by hunters for his scales, or whatever it was, he didn't know, but he had been moving through the country of Japan. It was getting hard for him to hide, for he wasn't one who wanted to fight, and yet was old enough that he was indeed able to take on other dragons, tho his kind were known for being weaker then other's, he was still strong. As he went to hide, he was near a village, the village was ran by a group of peasents who were barely able to feed each other. The dragon remained hidden, tho hating the weather, he had to remain there while the hunters were looking for him. As the months went by, a priestess came across him sleeping in the cave that was facing east. She was old, and the villagers considered her scenile, but she had magic in her like no other. As she looked upon the dragon, she simply smiled and sat down, offering tea to it and telling the dragon her name was Yusaki. The dragon blinked, and laughed, soon starting to do what all Brass' did best, and thus starting talking with her about everything, from his life to the weather, anything he could find to talk about, and yet she didn't even become frightened, she just listened and sometimes would join in.

Week's would go by, and each day, the lady would come back to listen to the dragon's tales, and she would return, talking to the dragon with great enthusiasm. One day, she had come to the cave as usual, but she had a pregnant woman with her. The dragon, good in nature, didn't even growl, but smiled at the woman, who seemed frightened. The pregnant woman was pale, sweating, and looked very ill, and the old lady began to explain to the dragon that the lady was sick, and would die before giving birth to the child. The old woman asked, as a friend, if the dragon would protect the child, and without hesitation, the dragon would agree, hey, the lady spoke with him, why wouldn't he accept. As the dragon accepted, the old woman soon began to chant, slowly making her way up to the dragon and touching it. It blinked, unable to understand, but before he could even speak, he suddenly vanished, but not gone, for in the old womans hand, there was a glowing like orb, that had a look that was more like water then anything solid, and before anything else, the old woman moved over, and gently touched the belly of the pregnant woman with the orb. Suddenly, the orb was pushed into the womans belly, a sudden warmth rushing over her as she began to heal, and within the hour, seemed to be cured. That was till the baby was born 3 months later. As the baby was born, it had a soft glow to it, the same brass glow that the old lady had before pushing the orb into the pregnant woman.

As the woman had given birth, she soon returned to being ill, and before anything, died within the night. The old lady looked at the baby, and suddenly named the child Ishida, where she would take care of the child till it was strong enough. For the first 4 years, the child was raised by the old woman, it learned to speak at a much younger age then that of others, and was speaking before the first year was even up. This surprised many of the villagers, but as the baby began to speak and ask questions about his parents, the villagers for some reason decided to lie to avoid explaining what happened to him. As Ishida had turned 5, the lady that had cared for him passed on, leaving her home to him, and leaving the villagers to care for Ishida. The dragon itself remaining silent, which was really hard for him do to his nature, but he watched within Ishida as the boy grew into a teen. As Ishida was 16, he had grown to work the fields with the other's, harvesting crops, void of any information from the outside world, even void from the emperor, which drove the dragon insane, and soon the dragon couldn't take anymore. It decided to break free for a little bit, not to fight, but to just get out and actually do what he loved, and as such, causing Ishida to black out. But as one can imagine, it didn't go well to see a 25 foot long dragon with huge wings walking around. As such, the villagers attacked, and in doing so, the dragon destroyed half the village, putting them to sleep to make an escape. After a day, the dragon returned to the sanctaty of Ishida's body, remaining void and quiet.

Well do to the little excursion that had happened, word started to travel from village to village, which was ironic since most of the time, no new's ever got round, but for some reason, this did, either that or the emperor witnessed this, the details on this were never discussed with Ishida, so he never knew why. But low and behold, Ishida was taken from wherever he had landed, which ironically he didn't know where he was, but as the emperors guards took him to the city of Kyoto, the Emperor decided to take Ishida in to raise and take care of him, thus pleasing the dragon itself. So for the next 4 years, the dragon got all the interaction he could ever want, tho never once saying a damn thing, and was also helping Ishida with his own training as a soldier. Well after the 4 years, Ishida knew how to not only read, but was a skilled fighter, and as such, was put into the military as a common foot soldier. Ya, something the dragon REALLY liked was being a common footsoldier. So for the first 10 years of fighting for the current emperor, Ishida fought in countless battles, from fighting off pirates, to fighting against the empire of China, he was going from one battle to the next, protecting and invading when the need arose. But after the 10th year of proving himself, Ishida started to be given higher ranks, and so the dragon helped Ishida without Ishida even realizing much, except for Ishida being able to create flames from increasing the heat around a certain spot greatly, to growing scales to protect vital parts of his body. The wings tho never worked out, for the body couldn't handle that, and would thus force Ishida to loose control, which the dragon didn't really want, so the dragon and Ishida both avoided doing that.

finally after a good 100 years of serving the Empire, the latest Emperor of Kyoto died. This gave Ishida a reason to leave Kyoto, and begin to travel to find out more about what happened, and to him, why his family abandoned him. The dragon wouldn't quite tell Ishida this. Hell, the dragon technically never even spoke to Ishida, so it was more or less the dragon just keeping his mouth shut. The dragon watched for the next 3 years, watching as Ishida traveled from place to place, till finally reaching Palanestina. So it was October, and low and behold, things started off interesting as Ishida met a woman by the name of Relas. Now here was someone the Dragon didn't expect, a half demon, someone for Ishida to spend a lot more time with, and many nights as Ishida traveled on the ocean with her, spent much of his time with her either helping out, or hanging out, and then watching Ishida mate with her. Months had passed as January arrived, and Ishida had become really worn out. Well it had been far to long since his last romp, so he decided to get out for a bit, and so forced Ishida to sneak out, soon growing wings as he went around, finding creatures and people to talk with, hunting down sheep and goats to eat do to how long it had been since his last meal. After a few days, he decided to give Ishida back his body, and as such, Ishida awoke in the middle of the woods. Ya, Ishida wouldn't know about the missing sheep that were stollen from a local farmer, but oh well, at least after 3 days, Ishida returned to Pala, after dealing with these demons that were trying to kill people. So ya, Ishida started asking around, till finally finding out that it was the dragon who did this, and so started teh quest for Ishida to hunt down the ingredients, which to the dragons surprise, took a month or so to obtain the ingredients. What was an even bigger surprise was how Ishida was already ready to face the dragon, so as Ishida went to the training grounds and did everything, soon being sucked into his own mind, now was the time for the dragon to appear, but not till he talked Ishida down. Sadly that didn't happen, but hey, how bad could one measily human with no powers be? So ya, the dragon soon came out, and was a huge shock to many, and as it seemed, was a rarity to see a brass dragon. As the dragon pushed Ishida up against a wall, breaking a few rib bones, Ishida did something that, tho painful and humiliating, made the dragon admire Ishida in many ways, and that was how Ishida, brace yourself, brought out a vial filled with liquid and tossed it into the dragons eye's.
